A recent development proposal by the owners of Boydtown is of such a scale that it would see the area grow to small town larger in size than Pambula Beach. The development would comprise many hundreds of houses and apartments, shopping, a commercial district, and a marina. To facilitate the plan the developers have requested major changes in zoning and to eliminate any claims of native title in the part of Twofold Bay where they will establish a marina.
