Boydtown Pty Ltd has lodged an application with the National Native Title Tribunal to determine that native title does not exist in the area where the company proposes to build a new marina. The application affects the waters in Twofold Bay off the beach at Boydtown’s Seahorse Inn. The company has also lodged a development application with the Bega Valley Shire Council to establish a sand mining operation on land on the western site of the highway near the entrance to Boydtown.
